The Supreme Court has just ruled that the President is immune from prosecution for any official act. “If the President decides that his rival is a corrupt person and orders the military…to assassinate him, is that an official act?” asked Justice Sotomayor. Under the SCOTUS decision it will be legal for a president to order the National Guard to fire at protesters. Gone, any Constitutional protection. I could go on. But it is now ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE that we all vote for Biden, no matter what our opinion of him. If we do not vote for him, we will come under a tyranny the likes of which we cannot now imagine. Many people are thinking of leaving the country – I almost wrote “trumpry” but it will be the “Trumpery,” no longer the American republic – if Trump is re-elected. He will be above the law as President. The concentration camps will open. Dissenters and all of his “enemies” will be killed. I never thought I would plead for Biden, but I guess that’s what I am doing. I never imagined I would be doing so. THERE IS NO MORE RULE OF LAW FOR THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. THE SUPREME COURT HAS JUST KILLED THE AMERICAN REPUBLIC.
