New Palestinian Film on Gaza’s Holocaust
Democracy Now July 5 has a long segment on this film. It opens with a lacerating description of Israel’s killing of two innocent children, Hind Raja and an older girl, as they cowered in a car that was fired upon by an Israeli tank. Please listen to this if you can. It will leave you with no good feelings at all towards Israel, nor towards Joe Biden. It is our hideous dilemma that we are forced to vote for this genocidal and incapacitated individual since the Democratic Party refuses to put up another candidate. If he loses, we are in for an endless Christian fascism that will not only abolish all of our Constitutional rights, but that will annihilate all of life on the planet through Trump’s gleeful “drill, baby, drill” plans, and his collusion with the oil corporations, which have donated millions of dollars to his campaign. This is it, I’m afraid. A choice between justice for what remains of Palestine, and environmental protections for the whole of our planet. It is a terrible choice to have to make, and I know people who cannot bring themselves to vote for Biden. But if he loses, the entire planet will die – or its most unique characteristic: life.
